Colorado Water Trust is proud to partner with Niagara Cares on our projects in the Colorado River Basin. Together, we work to return water to rivers and tributaries throughout the basin so that local communities, economies, and ecosystems can thrive. Last year, our partnership allowed us to return over 100 million gallons of water to the Colorado River Basin, and we look forward to growing that number moving forward.
We are excited to share Water Ways, a new documentary created by Good Is Everywhere highlighting our partnership with Niagara and our joint commitment to protecting and preserving vital water resources. Water Ways puts a spotlight on the work of Colorado Water Trust, National Forest Foundation, and Arbor Day Foundation and highlights the importance of working together to protect and restore our precious water resources.

And, we’re thrilled to announce that the documentary received Best Short Documentary at the Golden State Film Festival! This recognition is truly a testament to the powerful impact of our shared efforts.
“At Niagara, we are dedicated to protecting water as a vital resource and creating healthy, hydrated communities,” said Ann Canela, Director of Corporate Giving at Niagara Bottling. “These rivers are essential to multiple states in the West and Southwest, and through our partners like Colorado Water Trust, we’re taking meaningful steps toward improving river flow and creating a greener, more biodiverse future.”

You can watch the documentary online, and make sure to follow us on social media @coloradowatertrust and @niagaracares to stay up to date on our projects and exclusive video content from the Water Ways journey.
