Alamosa Riverkeepers are working in collaboration with the Terrace Irrigation Company to replace the existing Terrace Reservoir spillway. Replacing and upgrading the spillway will improve the reservoir by increasing the spillway capacity so that it may pass the Probable Maximum Flood. After construction is complete, 2,000 acre-feet of storage will be dedicated to instream flow use.
